The seminar which will be held on Saturday, March 2, 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., at First Baptist Church, 1212 Knollwood St., Lapeer, MI 48446; 810.664.8814.  This year’s theme is “Balanced Evangelism” and Pete Mothershead (balancedevangelism.org) will be the keynote speaker.  Session titles: Conquering Fear, Witnessing Naturally, and Discerning Your Role.  A workshop titled “Your Walk Talks” will also be featured.  In addition to the main sessions, there will also be four workshop sessions during the seminar.  Registration and refreshments will begin at 8:15 a.m.  Registration is $12 per person in advance, $15 at the door.  Lunch is included for all attendees.  Contact Scott Kigar, First Baptist Church of Rochester, for PDF files of materials – Email.

Talents for Christ

Registration deadline for the 2013 MARBC State Competition of Talents for Christ is now extended to March 4, 2013. Please make checks payable to Evangel Baptist Church and mail the registration to: Michigan TFC, Evangel Baptist Church, 16994 S. Telegraph Rd., Taylor, MI 48180.

The 2013 MARBC Talents for Christ competition will be held on Saturday, April 20, 2013 at West Cannon Baptist Church in Belmont. Students may participate in either the Scholarship or Open Categories. Registration cost is $65 for the Scholarship Categories.  Registration cost is $25 per individual category and $35 per group in the Open Categories. [Read more…]
